Today's readings, close at hand

Via's Today screen opens with a passage from the day's Gospel and a path into the daily Mass readings. Read the First Reading, Psalm, and Gospel in one place. You can use Via before going to Mass, revisit a passage afterward, or simply make a little time for Scripture at home.

Choose the liturgical region that fits you

Via lets you choose your liturgical region in Profile settings. That choice helps you follow the calendar used where you worship. If the readings differ from those at your parish, check your region and use your parish's guidance for local celebrations.

You can also choose a Bible translation in the app's settings: Douay–Rheims Challoner, the World English Bible — Catholic Edition, or the Catholic Public Domain Version.

A small way to begin

1. Open Today and read the Gospel passage on the opening card.
2. Tap Read today's Mass and spend time with one reading.
3. Choose a word or sentence to carry into the day. You can revisit it later without rushing to finish everything.

Daily Mass readings, the full Catholic Bible, Saint of the Day, and the basic daily streak are free. Via Pro adds a daily reflection and prayer inspired by the readings, Ask Via for questions about Scripture and Catholic teaching, and Faith Explained videos.

Ask Via and the reflections use AI and can make mistakes. Open the source references when you want to explore an answer, and speak with your priest about personal spiritual or sacramental questions.
